We’re competing in the Performance category with live music.
What inspired you to submit to Artsville LIVE this year?
We love performing live music—it’s our passion and joy.
Tell us a little bit about your piece or performance.
We’re a married acoustic duo performing live sets that span from the 1950s to the 1990s, along with praise and worship music. Our set blends nostalgia and inspiration, aiming to connect with every listener.
How long have you been practicing your craft or art form?
Chris has been playing music for 30 years. Kristin began her journey two years ago.
Who or what influences your creative work the most?
Christopher holds a music degree and focuses on the musical arrangement side, while Kristin—an amateur writer—is deeply focused on lyrics and storytelling.
What’s something people might not know about your creative process?
Chris is the arranger of our performances, carefully crafting the sound. Kristin is the researcher—she loves learning the background and stories behind the songs we play.
How do you hope people feel when they see your work?
We hope people feel the love, connection, and joy we bring to every performance. Our motto is: “We’re bringing the world together through music.”

If you win Artsville LIVE, how do you plan to use the $1,000 prize?
We would donate the full amount to Vanderbilt Hospital, in gratitude for saving Kristin’s life less than a year ago through two life-saving brain surgeries.
