Art Gala Entry

When submitting an art piece into the Artsville Fest Art Gala Visual Art Show, you can expect the following:

• Art Size Requirements:

  • Artwork can be 2D with a maximum size of 24"x 24".

  • Sculpture submissions must weigh no more than 5 pounds and should be able to sit on a 24 x 24 platform.

• Ready to Hang:

  • Your 2D artwork must be ready to hang upon submission, ensuring it's prepared for display.

• Piece Not Required to Be Complete:

  • Your artwork does not need to be fully completed at the time of entry. However, you must submit an image by March 1 that accurately represents your final concept to be included in our Virtual Gallery and receive online votes toward our Fan Favorite Award.

• Proper Labeling:

  • Your artwork must be properly labeled with details including your name, title of the piece, and any other relevant information.

  • You will receive a form to fill out all the necessary labeling requirements for your artwork.

• Sales Opportunity:

  • You may choose to sell your artwork. If you decide to sell, a sales commission will be applied.

• Exhibit Opportunity:

  • Your piece will be showcased in a gallery exhibit, allowing the community to view and appreciate your work.

• Awards and Prizes:

  • Your work will be eligible for multiple awards and prizes through several voting methods, including:

    • Virtual gallery votes at $1 per vote, with proceeds going toward the Fan Favorite Award, which includes a cash prize

    • Best of Age Categories

    • Best of Show

    • Special Recognition Awards

• Virtual Gallery Listing:

  • Your entry will be listed in our virtual gallery, allowing you to promote your work and start receiving votes.

  • The more votes you accumulate, the higher your chances of winning the Fan Favorite Award.

• Voting Methods:

  • Virtual Gallery Votes: $1 per vote, with proceeds going toward the Fan Favorite Award, which includes a cash prize.

  • Art Gala Exhibition Voting on April 2: $1 per vote, with proceeds going toward the Fan Favorite Award, which includes a cash prize.

  • Jury Votes: Your artwork will be voted on by a jury panel, determining various awards.

Emails You Will Receive:

• Initial Confirmation Email:

  • After you submit your entry, you will receive a confirmation email with a form that must be filled out to finalize your submission.

• Labeling Details:

  • You will receive a follow-up email containing a form with all the labeling requirements for your artwork, including your name, the title of the piece, and any other required information.

• Completion, Drop-off, and Pick-up Details:

  • Once your art is accepted, you will receive an email with additional instructions for completing your artwork, as well as details on the art drop-off and pick-up process.

• Community Engagement:

  • This is a great opportunity to engage with the local community, gain exposure for your art, and potentially win exciting prizes!
