     My name is Ani French. I am from Bowling Green, Kentucky.
 
2) What category are you competing in (Performance, Fashion, or Film)?
    I am competing in the performance category.
 
3) What inspired you to submit to Artsville LIVE this year?
     After my grandmother sent me the information, I planned to be a vendor, but decided to participate in the competition as well.
 
4) Tell us a little bit about your piece or performance.
    I will create a freehand floral henna tattoo.
 
5) How long have you been practicing your craft or art form?
    I have been doing henna for just over a year.
 
6) Who or what influences your creative work the most?
    While everyone in my family has encouraged my creativity, I think that my mom supports me the most through managing the behind the scenes of my business. 
 
7) What’s something people might not know about your creative process?
    I usually work on the spot, without a reference to go off of.
 
8) How do you hope people feel when they see your work?
    I hope that through my work, I'm able to inspire people to try new things, even if they are not familiar with them.

    I recently joined a few social media platforms(Instagram, TikTok, & Facebook). My username is mehndibyani25 on all platforms.
 
10) If you win Artsville LIVE, how do you plan to use the $1,000 prize?
   If I won, I would invest at least half of the money back into my business: more henna cones, paints, plaques & signs, tent decorations, etc.
